What does Proverbs 22:6 really mean when it talks about training a child up in the way they should go? Is it a promise, or is it a warning? Pastor Sonny explores this in a special Father’s Day message.
This week, our Youth Coordinator, Sis. Paula Tung, shares an update on our Youth Ministry with a message on helping our young people grow in their faith.
Parenting by faith ultimately means having faith in God as a good Father. A Father who will always be there for our children no matter what. A Father who never sleeps. A Father who never gets tired. A Father who will never die.
As we can see from Moses’ parents in Exodus 2, an important part of preparing your children for the world is to put them in their proper place, teaching them how, both spiritually and practically, to get along in the challenging world that they will face.
Continuing into the Book of Exodus, Pastor Sonny explains what we can learn from Moses’ parents on how to raise children to have faith and fear of God in a world that is leading them in the opposite direction.
